CGC 2026 Platform Presentation Guidelines





Abstract Presenters

  • Please prepare a twelve (12) minute presentation.
  • Your session moderator will stop you if you go over your allotted time.
  • Your 12 minutes does NOT include Q&A time.
  • Your session moderator will facilitate Q&A at the end of your presentation.

Platform and Science Cafe Presentation Submission

Please review the timeline below with the upcoming deadlines for your presentation.

Submission of Final Slide Presentations

  • Please note, the CGC provides a PowerPoint slide template for your title, disclosure, and acknowledgement slides. It is required* to use these slides for any presentation given at the Annual Meeting. The template can be found HERE.
    • The first slide should be used to display the title of your presentation, your name, and your institution.
    • The second slide should be used to list any disclosures you may have or “none” if you do not have any.
    • The third slide should be used as your final presentation slide to display any acknowledgements you may have.
  • Bring upload your final slide presentation using the link provided in emails to you from the CGC staff at least 48 hours in advance of your time slot. Please ensure the file uploaded is your final version.
  • If you are presenting on Sunday, August 2, please upload your presentation by 2pm on Saturday, August 1.
  • Science Cafe presentations should upload by Saturday, August 1.
  • If you have any challenges with the upload, bring your slide presentation to the CGC registration desk the day before your presentation. Do not give your presenatation to the Audio-Visual techs.

*Exhibitor showcases and Science Cafe presentations are not required to use the CGC template.
