2026 Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Southern States CME Collaborative (SSCC) through the joint providership of Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and Cancer Genomics Consortium. MAHEC is accredited by the SSSC to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: MAHEC designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 23.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, including participation in the Saturday and Sunday Unconference, or 17.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ if attending the CGC 2026 Annual Meeting alone. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Instructions on how to receive credit: In order to receive credit, participants must check-in, review the CME information (accreditation, learning objectives, faculty disclosures, etc.), and attend the CME activity.

ACCESSING YOUR 2026 CME DOCUMENTS
If you paid for CME credits during your CGC 2026 meeting registration:
  • In order to receive continuing education credit for attending this program on 8/1/2025 through 8/5/2025, complete the attestation form HERE and submit by 5:00 pm on September 4, 2026.
  • You will receive an instructional email the week of September 7th with how to register on the MAHEC MyCE site to complete an evaluation of this program and download your credit certificate.
  • MAHEC will then reconcile credits and notify you when the online evaluation and your credit certificate are available.

MAHEC and the CGC encourage each participant to verify with his/her/their licensing board(s) to verify that the credit offered at this activity is acceptable for their individual continuing educational requirements.

2026 Professional Acknowledgment for Continuing Education (P.A.C.E.®) Credit

he CGC is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program.

To Receive PACE Credits for CGC 2026 (complimentary for all attendees):

  • Complete daily evaluation forms online. Forms can be accessed via QR codes in the program book or on the virtual platform, where links to evaluations are provided at the end of each half-day.
  • Make sure your name is on the evaluation form, as this form also records your attendance in the report sent to the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), the CGC P.A.C.E. provider.
  • The Certificate of Attendance will be emailed on August 17, 2026 to all in-person and virtual participants who have completed the evaluations.
  • Record your session attendance on your Certificate of Attendance.
  • Your Certificate is your proof of attendance.
