SUPPORT CGC PROGRAMS

The Cancer Genomics Consortium is committed to providing high quality education and promoting best practices in clinical cancer genomics. As our organization grows, there is a continued need for tools and resources to enhance our capabilities to educate our community and provide additional benefit to our members.

We appreciate your support!

Current CGC programs include:

  • Educational opportunities through webinars and case conferences offered to the community at no charge

  • Curated Gene Lists available to CGC Members

  • Workgroup publications in the CGC journal, Cancer Genetics

  • Travel grants for trainees and technologists to attend the CGC Annual Meeting

Projects in development include:

  • The Compendium of Cancer Genome Aberrations (CCGA), a Wiki-style interface designed to document and describe chromosome and other genetic abnormalities in cancer.

  • Development of a CGC Research Consortium

  • Initiatives to support those members of the CGC community who are early in their career

  • Building partnerships with other organizations to promote cancer genomics
